this blog is perfect for those days where i feel like humans are total scoundrels (watching a woman cry at the post office when the teller is nasty, or too many rude elbows on the tube, ahem). it's sure to renew your sense of wonder--how one mote-instance can change the whole molecular structure of someone's day. i admit it, i heart flash-love-notes from strangers to strangers.
artists sophie blackall says of her pieces: "every day hundreds of strangers reach out to other strangers on the strength of a glance, a smile or a blue hat. their messages have the lifespan of a butterfly. i'm trying to pin a few of them down."
